Every academy with the Top Brother seal around the world (Brazil, China, Germany, Mexico) is certified and led by a Black belt teacher validated by the IBJJF.

Mestre Cezar Guimarães, also known by his nickname “Casquinha”, is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt under the former Carlson Gracie Academy, who later founded the famous Rio de Janeiro team Top Brother, which has produced some very talented competitors, both in BJJ and MMA (Mixed Martial Arts). Cezar Guimarães also has a black belt in Judo, where he excelled as a competitor and earned a spot on the Brazilian youth national team.
